SESSION I: Introduction to the course. Legal aspects of dissolution, custody, visitation, and child support. SESSION II: Communication with your children. Communication between parents. SESSION III: Effects of dissolution on families. Typical reactions of children to seperation and dissolution. SESSION IV: Custody and visitation. The court ordered study. Mediation process. SESSION V: Child support obligation. Financial assistance. Wrap-up of the course. |

Pre-registration is required. Due to limited class size, early enrollment is encouraged. Once you have submitted your enrollment form and fee, plan to attend the first session. you may assume you are registered for the class you applied for unless you are notified that the class is filled. Should the class be cancelled or postponed, you will be notified, and the fee refunded or applied to the next class. Although it is preferred that a class member enroll in Session I and complete the series in order, it is possible to enter at a later session and complete the series when next offered. It is also possible to make up classes which are missed during the next course offering. A prospective class member should inquire about late enrollment to be certain there is room in the class. Instructors will begin and end each session on time. |
