Dual Disorder Treatment

Through its Dual Recovery Program, South Central Human Relations Center provides treatment for individuals and their families that live with both mental illness and substance use issues. Staff uses Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) principles to address both issues at the same time, maximizing a person’s likelihood for recovery.

Services include:

  • Therapy sessions, including a diagnostic assessment and testing
  • Medication management
  • Substance use counseling, including weekly Alcoholics Anonymous and/or Narcotics Anonymous meetings
  • Assistance with daily living tasks, housing and money management
  • Case/care management
  • Other specialized counseling specifically designed for people with co-occurring disorders
